This week’s curator is Melanie Massarin, founder of Ghia a spirit-free aperitif designed to change the way we think about drinking and socializing.

Read: I'm about to go on vacation and took Fanny Singer's book with me "Always Home: A Daughter's Culinary Memoir." She's Alice Waters' daughter and an incredible cook and chef – I'm excited to read her.

Watch: I like to disconnect my brain from screens when I finish work, so I never really watch anything. The only movie I watched in quarantine was I am Love by Luca Guadagnino – I love Tilda Swinton and everything about the photography makes me dream of being back in Europe… Soon!

Listen: Our Ghia playlists. We spend an unreasonable amount of time making them, and share them with customers who text 707-TXT-GHIA, our hotline, to help them set the mood before opening their bottle. Right now, I'm very into the upbeat "Medi on my mind" which is very Italodisco.

Shop: I'm not a big shopper, but I have a particular obsession with specific objects of daily use, especially vintage ones and furniture pieces. It took me three years to find a set of plates I truly love or a vintage ashtray from Air France that I adore. I've recently begun the quest for Gio Ponti's 1951 flatware designed for Fraser Krupp, as well as a replacement for my defunct 35mm Ricoh gr1v camera, which I used to have on me at all times.

Inspiration: I'm so inspired by our team! Launching during this pandemic has been challenging but everybody's been lifting each other up with incredible optimism and creativity. It's truly what has kept us going.
