With a new year around the corner, we can’t help but look back at all the brands, spaces and people we’ve had the pleasure to work with over the last twelve months. We met Henry Holland and David Hodgson in their Hackney studio, spoke to Nicholas Daley about his love for tartan, saw our Ace Corner Shop space be transformed into a Barbie dream-world for Proper and saw concept stores worthy of MoMA.

Paloma Wool’s World Tour stopped in London as the brand took over our Bethnal Green Road space turning it into a contemporary gallery to present their latest collection of exquisite knitwear, shoes and accessories.

GINNY ON FREDERICK
We spoke to the founder of Ginny on Frederick, Freddie, who believes you can stage an art exhibition anywhere - even a tiny sandwich shop - or a fridge! His tiny gallery is a masterclass in utilising space creatively. Read our interview - here.

Were you team Barbier or Opennheimer? Whatever your tribe - our Ace Corner shop was a triumph. Taken over by Barbie x Proper, the shop became a Barbie-fuelled convenience store, with queues lining up around the block.

STEFAN COOKE X MULBERRY
One of the most iconic collabs for the year saw eco-conscious fashion designer Stefan Cooke and luxury british leather goods brand Mulberry transform vintage bags to modern masterpieces. The bags were sold for a limited time only within their pop-up store in Soho.

CHILLIE LONDON
Natalie and Lydia started Chillie London to inspire the next generation to embrace pre-loved fashion, in the coolest way possible. Having worked in styling and marketing - they knew how to curate the perfect pieces to ensure any preloved wardrobe looks as good as new.

KNOWN SOURCE
You’ve most likely seen Known Source, the cult-like vintage brand blowing up on TikTok and Instagram. The vintage brand has a 1000 one-of-a-kind collection that you can’t source (pun very much intended here) anywhere else.

Ria’s in Notting Hill has become something of a cult-phenomenon. Good luck trying to book a table, there’s often a waiting list. But there’s no fancy Michelin-star chef in the kitchen, the reason why Ria’s works so well is because husband-and-wife duo David and Ria lead with something many others in the hospitality industry do not - compassion.
