Looking for a Shoreditch venue with a difference? Then you’d be out of your tree to pass up on this stunning loft space on the corner of Charlotte Road and Great Eastern Street. With its cool industrial-bohemian style, well-equipped kitchen area and Steinway & Sons Concert Grand Piano, this open-plan room is an ideal setting for supper clubs, cocktail parties and intimate gigs, while its large windows let the light stream in for daytime seminars, workshops and photoshoots, too.
You’re surrounded by shops, bars and eateries on this busy Shoreditch intersection. By day, you’ll see workers from Charlotte Road’s graphic design studios and modelling agencies, and an arty crowd from the Royal Drawing School down the street. By night the likes of Merchants Tavern, The Old Blue Last and Flat Iron draw the drinkers and diners in. The word has spread about The Treehouse’s Sunday concerts, and the venue has also hosted yoga classes, drink tastings and gigs by the likes of Gregory Porter and Emili Sandé. You’ll be a five-minute walk from Shoreditch High Street station.
You’ll be next to W Model Management and men’s clothing and made to measure suit store Beggars Run, and opposite Merchants Tavern, Angela Hartnett’s bar and restaurant.
No stilettos permitted in the space.
No drinks to be placed on the piano.
Full day hire is for 12 hours and an extra charge will be applied for each additional 15 minutes.
Maximum capacity is 80 people.
You’ll need a TENS license for the sale of alcohol, and will have to be off-site by 11pm.
The landlord will consider hiring the space from 8am-5pm for £1,500, but the price shown is for a full day. Discount could be available for a week-long booking.
The space will look like the photos, but furniture can be moved.
This is a top floor space, so be prepared to climb a fair few stairs.
